Posting schedule and comments policy

I have six posts scheduled once a week starting Friday, February 9.

Comments policy

Don’t use profanity. No vulgar swear words.

Don’t use ALL CAPS.

No hate speech!

No personal or private information, such as emails, phone numbers, street addresses, passwords, credit card numbers, or social security numbers. More so the latter three, especially social security numbers, but never post passwords or credit card numbers anyways. Ever heard of 4Chan? He (or she?) is a radical who uses a fake IP address and as such is difficult to track down.

Any comments that violate the above may be removed with or without notice.

If you reference something that could be offensive, give a warning.

Joke Hebrew names

Sorry for poor rendering. It’s just that Hebrew is written right to left, and the WordPress admin interface is just too complicated and confusing.

Does the Jo- in Jonah, Joseph, and Josiah reference the tetragrammaton? No…

Jonah is transliterated from Yonah (יונה) and means “dove.” Joseph is transliterated from Yosef (יוסף) and means “add” or “increase.” Josiah is transliterated from Yoshiyahu (יושיהו) and means “Yahweh supports.” Note that Hebrew is written from right-to-left, and the Heh (ה) at the end of a word is usually silent. The “Jo” in each of these does not reference the tetragrammaton. The only name of the three that references the tetragrammaton is “Josiah”, but with the suffix -iah, not the prefix Jo-. The “Jo” means nothing on its own. And it’s the “Jos-“ that means “supports”, not the “-siah.” There’s no such suffix as -siah!

Yehosef (יהוסף) – Would mean “YHWH adds.” Would be transliterated Jehoseph.

Yehonah (‎יהונה) – would mean “YHWH’s dove.” Would be transliterated Jehonah.

‎Yehoshiyahu (יהושיהו) – would mean “YHWH supports YHWH.” Would be pronounced Jehosiah. Wait, that meaning doesn’t make sense. it would make more sense to say “YHWH supports himself.”

In Hebrew, Joshel or Josel (יושאל) would be pronounced as Yosh’el and would mean “God supports” (God as in Elohim, not JHVH). The Jos- prefix would mean “supports,” and the -el suffix would mean “Elohim.” Or should it be Josiel, יושיאל (Yoshi’el)? Note that the apostrophe (‘) marks a glottal stop. I don’t think that name exists in the Bible though.

What about Jehojah? That would mean “JHVH is JHVH.” It could also be spelled Jehoiah. It would be spelled יהויהו (Yehoyahu).

What if יהו was a root, rather than a prefix or suffix? Then it would be -yaho- and be transliterated -jaho-. As in “…Is Yahweh’s…”

Enough of the tetragrammaton.

Does Abel mean ”God’s father”? Does the “Ab” mean “father” while “el” means “God”? If that was the case, it would be spelled אבאל (av’el), but it’s actually spelled הבל (hevel) which comes from the Hebrew word for “breath and means “ephemeral” or “short and sweet.” It’s the same Hebrew word used for “vanity” in the book of Ecclesiastes. There is no glottal stop in that name.

Other Hebrew name ideas are Adoniel (God is Lord).

How do we deserve hell?

How do we deserve punishment that severe? Doesn’t it seem extreme and over-the-top?

What would you think of the law treating a Class 3 Misdimeanor as a Class A Felony – is that not basically what God is doing? Edit: Let me give an example. Executing a driver (putting the driver to death) for speeding at 80 miles per hour on a highway – that wouldn’t be fair would it? Isn’t that basically what God is doing? Treating every crime as a capital crime?

One proposed explanation is that while our sins seem finite from our own eyes, bound by time, our sins are eternal in the eyes of God who is outside of time.

But just because God is infinitely good doesn’t mean he has to give infinite punishment to teensiest sin.

Edit: I forgot, some people would say “But it’s not a teensy little sin” but I would respond “let’s suppose that it was” but they would call that response moot.

And I would say that “Putin is a worse sinner than me.”

Devout Christians deserve milder punishment in hell than their enemies – how do they not?

Sure, it is arrogant to say “We are better than our enemies.”

But we chose the path to hell – why can’t we UN-choose the path to hell?

There’s something else though. The issue isn’t one-time sin that’s resolved to be never done again. The issue is persistent rebellion against God. Sin is not one-time. It has eternal implications.

At the end of the Millenium, will only Satan be released from his chains, or will ALL of those in Hades be released? What is a good reason for God to not pardon the damned out of Hell/Hades at the end of the millennium and give them just ONE more chance to turn and repent? God could say “If you repent, you will be out of hell and in Heaven. But if you do evil again, you will go back to hell for eternity and not get a second chance.” What, they would not repent?

How could anyone CONSCIOUSLY choose hell OVER Heaven? Can’t they weigh the cost and benefit of Hell vs. Heaven and realize that the benefits of Heaven outweigh the costs, and the costs of Hell outweigh the benefits? Wouldn’t they treat Heaven as a lifeboat and Hell as a sinking ship? Like “I don’t like either Heaven or Hell, but if I had to choose one, I would choose Heaven.”

Hell will be different for each damned person, depending on what the person hates. Hell will be what the damned hates most. If a damned person really hates flowers, they will get flowers. If a damned person really despises music, they will get music.

I also propose… God doesn’t want an endless cycle of sin-condemnation-repentance-pardon-sin-condemnation-and so on. Those in hell will say up to God in Heaven “Please pardon me from this fiery anguish – I promise to do whatever you say” – but God knows that they will break their promise – even if they firmly plan to not sin again, they will change their mind and rebel against God, thinking they will get another chance if they are damned, which will lead to an endless cycle in which they sin, are damned, repent, then are pardoned, and they sin again, and are damned, and repent, and then are pardoned, and they sin again, and so on. In an endless cycle. God doesn’t want that.

Why doesn’t God replace the damned? You’ve probably been told that things can be replaced, people cannot. Randy Alcorn claims that only those we once loved went to hell, and the good we saw in them is not in them anymore. But I say, couldn’t God replace those lost ones with people that are what the lost ones could and should have been?

And Matthew 7:13-14 says that most people are going to hell. How could most choose the path to hell and few choose the path to Heaven? And why doesn’t God do whatever it takes for the number in Heaven to be breakeven with the number in hell? Can you guess why I’m using the word “breakeven”? Also, couldn’t new people be born in Heaven? Either not descended from Adam and Eve but descended from a fresh couple, OR born AFTER their parents are redeemed?

Humanity is 50% good and 50% bad, don’t you think? Why don’t you think God? Satan is black/dark, God is white/light, and humankind is GRAY.

One more thing, I never, EVER ask God rhetorical questions. The questions I ask God ALWAYS expect answers, no matter how rhetorical they sound.

It’s time to let old things die

The Catholic church, the Protestants, the fundamental Baptists, the Seventh-Day Adventists, the Mormons, Islam, paganism, the occult…

The communists, the democrats, the alt-right… Silicon Valley, Twitter, Parler, Facebook, Instagram, Google… Hollywood, Disney… Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Putin…

Let it all die.

We can bring a new order to the World and to God’s people.

Not to spoil Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, but the above sounds kind of like Kylo Ren. I have to warn you that the following video may have SPOILERS for the movie:

Why God hates witchcraft and sorcery

People like me would think, what’s so wrong with magic? I don’t see anything bad about using supernatural power for things like levitation and telepathy or even flight. I think of it as just fun and cool. What does God not like about it? Does God falsely forbid magic and enchantment?

Edit: What could possibly be wrong with using psychics, clairvoyance, and remote viewing to track down criminals? It would be very useful to catch people behind phishing scams. I don’t see how that could hurt anyone! If anything, it would help by catching the criminal. Maybe the criminal would be hurt, but that’s no different than when catching the criminal with normal means.

Also, how can it be sin if it doesn’t have a victim? “There’s no such thing as a victimless sin!”

Isn’t evil simply benefiting self at the deteriment of others, or having own gain at others’ loss, or taking pleasure in harming and hurting others?

Or is it giving good things to people that have done bad? Or helping people who are evil?

Edit: An example of a poor answer from God is “because God said so” or “to glorify God.” A good answer would be how it detriments or harms. “For our own good” is the kind of answer I want, but more detail would be good, like “For what good?” I want a good reason for God’s prohibition of magic, enchantment, spells, charms, and psychics – not just any reason, but a GOOD reason. Not “Because God said so” or “to honor and glorify God”, but how it detriments, harms, helps, or benefits.

I propose…

Witchcraft and sorcery is just magicians and enchanters’ ways of trespassing the limits of spiritual power that God has put in place for them. It can be compared to 1 Samuel 8:6, in which the Isrealites want a king to “fight our battles,” instead of letting God fighting battles, since God will fight their battles when they are faithful to him, and ONLY when they are faithful to him.

How? Witchcraft and sorcery are seeking wisdom, guidance, and help from spiritual sources that are not God’s holy spirit, without taking into consideration faithfulness to God. Only those who are faithful should get spiritual help, wisdom, and guidance. Witchcraft and sorcery would be people’s thought for getting help WITHOUT faithfulness to God.

Harry Potter gets all his power from Satan? I am not going to link the offensive article that I am thinking of. Why can’t anyone get the same power from God’s Holy Spirit?

Edit: Why doesn’t God grant some people clairvoyance?

Edit: Contacting the dead is dangerous, because you’re not actually encountering the dead spirits you think you are talking to, you’re talking to demons impersonating dead spirits. But let’s suppose that there weren’t any demons and that you actually WERE talking to the dead spirits you intend to talk to. So what’s wrong with movies depicting contacting the dead? There are no demons in movies like Frozen 2 or Moana, and people are talking to legitimate spirits, not demons, so that defeats the danger of contacting the dead.

Edit: I don’t care what God calls good and what God calls bad! I only care what IS good and what IS bad!

Things that would convince atheists and agnostics like me of the existence of God

I would like to see an angel recorded on tape… unedited. I’d like to see an angel recorded on live stream.

I would also like to see a miracle beyond scientific explanation, like an amputee growing an arm back. Or a person who lost both kidneys, grows new kidneys. Unfortunately, those two would only alter scientists’ understanding of human biology, unless everything was inconsistent. I’d like miracles recorded on video.

I would like to see God talking in a thunderstorm, Mufasa in the live action Lion King (sorry for the spoilers, WordPress doesn’t seem to provide a way to hide spoilers like Reddit does). I want everyone to hear it and wake up, so that they can tell about it as independent witnesses, and for it to be recorded on video, to prove that I’m not hallucinating.

I would like God to speak to me with physical sound so everybody around me can hear it.

I would like multiple people sharing the exact same dream, and meeting and talking to each other in that dream. Also mass death experiences (MDE), an extreme form of near death experience (NDE) and shared death experience (SDE).

I would also like to see the invisible hands of God type on a keyboard, and record it on camera for proof of evidence. The computer could also record God typing.

If Bruce Gerencser (brucegerencser.net) sees Jesus in the sky during the Rapture or Second Coming, they will say “OH! NOW I believe in him, now that I see him!” Even the STUBBORNEST of STUBBORNEST hearts will believe! Even the HARDEST of the HARDEST of hearts will be convinced!

Edit: I’d like it if an atheist was mind-blown and shocked by a vision that proved God, and startled to death! And repent as they die! Then no one will have any idea that they repented and believed and went to Heaven! Another scenario would be that an atheist sees a vision totally vivid, and doesn’t believe it, and thinking they are dreaming or hallucinating, they hit themselves really hard in an attempt to wake up, only to kill themselves!

I’d also like another battle on Mt. Carmel, but between Christians and Muslims. If Allah answers with fire, I and all other Christians will convert to Islam. But if Jahveh (as I call the Christian God) answers with fire, all Muslims will become Christians. They will just think about the logic “Allah would NEVER allow fire to hit the Christian altar!” I want it to be recorded on live stream. Will mainstream media censor it? What about Silicon Valley? Will the streaming be allowed in Saudi Arabia?

Anyone who is discovered with a hoax shall be put into JAIL! Maybe FORCE!!! a polygraph lie detector test on witnesses of miracles or testimonies of God to prove they are not making it up. I hope we develop mind-reading machines one day, as a more reliable alternative to polygraphs for use in court. Machines that can read into every thought and memory of a person.

Translations of the Genesis creation account

This might be my last post for the time being. I missed a post from two weeks ago. I will change my posting schedule to Sunday when I post a series of more posts.

“In the Beginning, God Created the Heavens and the Earth. The Earth was formless and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” – that’s not the correct translation of Genesis Chapter 1 Verses 1 and 2. There’s not supposed to be a comma after “Beginning.” And there’s no period. The two verses are supposed to be separated by a comma, not a period. Both the first two verses are one sentence.

It should be more like “In the Beginning [when] God created the Heavens and the Earth, the Earth was formless and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

The Hebrew word translated “depths” is Tahom.

Sorry fundamentalists! Sorry King James-only proponents! Sorry Jack Hyles! Sorry Pensacola Christian College! Sorry Hyles-Anderson College! Sorry David J. Stewart (or David Fleming, whatever)!

I will give sources later. Edit: Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXCxZ-0WuGM (The True ORIGINS of Genesis Creation Will BLOW Your Mind By MythVision Podcast)

How sermons should be preached

This will be just a short post. I missed the post from a two weeks ago, so I will post another one. They may be my last posts.

Give warnings, followed by promises.

Start with the hard words and follow them with soft words. Hard words soften hard hearts but harden soft hearts, while soft words soften soft hearts but harden hard hearts.

If people are offended by your sermons, they will likely feel better if you say “God has his laws in place for our own good” and “God knows something we don’t know.”

Let people ask “HOW do we deserve hell?” Don’t just answer “Because you’ve sinned,” because people will wonder “How does simply sinning earn us punishment so severe?”

Let them ask “What’s so wrong with magic and enchantment?” And answer “Witchcraft and sorcery are just magicians’ and enchanters’ way of trespassing the limits of spiritual power that God has put in place for them.”

Also monitor blog posts and videos that are responses to your posts and videos. Look them up.

Heaven will be spectacular

We will have godlike, cosmic powers!

We will be powerful and rich beyond out wildest dreams!

Our wealth will be equivalent to $101,000,000,000,000! 1 followed by a trillion 0s. Or rather, $infinity! (If only I could write the infinity symbol, a sideways 8, instead of the word “infinity”) Not just nominal value, but REAL value! Infinitely RICH! Except there will be no concept of money! Everything will be FREE! All software will be open source. No more copyright restrictions! Everyone can contribute!

We will have luxury far beyond the biggest billionaire!

People will work for FREE!

All bad memories will be erased! All memories will be erased of all suffering! We will have no idea anything bad ever happened! It will be exactly as if the fall of sin had not occurred, because that’s God’s ideal absolutely perfect world. We won’t be able to recall unpleasant memories even if we tried! Unpleasant memories won’t even be dormant! Even if we saw such flashbacks, we wouldn’t recognize them!

Hell will be invisible to us! The ones that went to hell – we won’t even have any idea they ever existed!

The word “sin” will NEVER be said! No one will EVER say the word “hell” or “death.”
